As many of you know, I am not into the whole class warfare thing. I think it is one of the most destructive tools of the real ruling class (i.e., those who wield power over others) to keep the rest of us at each others' throats and our attention off of them. I also don't buy into class analysis or the materialistic view of humanity that it is based on. But when a reader sent me this graphic, I thought it might be interesting to hear what others thought. I don't know how solid the studies were upon which these claims are based, but assuming they are sound, what do you think? Does having more money change the way a person behaves? Does it change their values? Their morality? And if it does, what are the implications of that, if any?
UPDATE: I've moved the graphic here, for viewing, because it was so huge.
