Can anyone take your classes?
Freogan Fellowship Learning is the education branch of the Freogan Fellowship, a non-profit private membership association. As such, students (or their parents/guardians) must first become members of Freogan Fellowship. This is free and easy to do, and membership can be cancelled at any time. Anyone who is a member (or whose parent/guardian is a member) of the Freogan Fellowship may take an age-appropriate class with Freogan Fellowship Learning.
Do you offer refunds?
Of course. We offer full refunds up to one week before class starts, and partial refunds thereafter. If the reason for a cancelation is related to a change we have made (scheduling, etc.), then of course we will give a full refund regardless of when it is requested.
And if for any reason you are unhappy with the course once it begins, we offer partial refunds (full tuition minus an administrative fee) up to two weeks into class.
Are these classes appropriate for pre-teens, or older children?
The answer to this question really depends on the individual child. If you are considering one of our classes for an older child or younger teen, or if you have any concerns at all about any of the content, we recommend speaking with the instructor beforehand to get a better idea of what the class will entail.
Our "Propaganda and the Personal" class in particular does deal with some adult subject matter such as war crimes and sexual themes. Parents who have concerns about any of these issues should arrange to speak with the instructor before the class starts, regardless of the age of their children/teens.
Can my child or teen get college credit for any of your classes?
Not at this time.
Are your classes only for homeschoolers?
No - however our class times might conflict with school hours for students who are attending school.
How do I know you're not just going to propagandaze my kid with YOUR views?
Our commitment is to nurturing and encouraging - and even teaching, to the extent that is possible - independent thinking and critical reasoning. If a student comes out of any of our classes simply parroting the views of the instructor, then we have failed. If you ever feel that any of our classes are not living up to this commitment, please let us know.
